Snowmobile Assisted Backcountry Touring
Telluride Mountain Guides has built a truly unique sled assisted backcountry touring program. Our long days in the field developing new terrain and routes, in a remote corner of the San Juans, have inspired us to share the good times with you. These zones offer solitude, sheltered powder skiing and big lines. We use the snowmobiles to gain access to the wilderness boundary. From there it’s an honest walk in the mountains. Half to full day tours, multi-day base camps and wilderness boundary cabin trips are all options. These itineraries are best game planned over the phone or a cup of coffee in town.
